    The Karakorum Autumn Tour is a true and authentic holiday in Pakistan that offers an opportunity to explore Skardu and the adjacent valleys of Baltistan, Pakistan. Skardu, the capital of Baltistan, is the epitome of grace, peace and wild nature. Many famous snow peaks are located in the Skardu Valley, which is visited by hundreds of hikers and mountaineers every year. Some of the famous peaks are K2, Baltoro Glacier, Sapantik, Masherbrum, Wide Peak, Gasherbrum I and II. Skardu is also known as the gateway to K2.

    The Karakorum Hunza Valley is surrounded by some of the world’s highest mountain ranges, and the landscape is dominated by towering peaks. Here are some notable peaks and their approximate altitudes that are visible from Hunza Valley: Rakaposhi with an elevation of about 7,788 meters. Ultar Sar is situated near Karimabad in the Hunza Valley and has multiple summits, with the highest one reaching around 7,388 meters. Ladyfinger Peak (Bublimotin) This distinctive rock spire stands at approximately 6,000 meters Passu Cones: These sharp, pointed peaks are part of the Passu Massif and are a prominent feature of the Hunza Valley. While not individual peaks, they contribute to the dramatic scenery. Passu Sar, one of the peaks in this massif, has an elevation of about 7,478 meters. Diran Peak: Located near the village of Minapin, Diran Peak is a challenging mountain to climb, with an elevation of around 7,266 meters.

    1Arrive at Islamabad airport, assist and transfer to the hotel for rest. In the Afternoon, explore Islamabad. Overnight at Islamabad.
    2Drive to Chilas either on Karakorum Highway or Naran depending on the    Babusar Pass snow condition. It will take a good 8 – 9 hours to reach Chilas. Overnight at Chilas.
    3After breakfast, drive to Raikot Bridge and then take local 4WD jeeps to Tato village. From there, either walk or ride horses to the meadows. Have leisure time and enjoy tea/coffee while admiring the stunning view of Nanga Parbat (8,126m). Overnight in Fairy Meadows.
    4Hike up to Biyal camp or the base camp to see Nanga Parbat. You’ll have a full day to enjoy the mountain’s beauty. Overnight in the Fairy Meadows.
    5Hike down to Tato village, and take jeeps to Raikot bridge. En route stop at the junction where three mountain ranges meet, and then drive to Karimabad Hunza for the night. Overnight at Hunza.
    6Explore Karimabad. Visit Baltit, Altit Forts and watch the sunset at Duiker. Stroll through gardens and streets of Hunza to witness the autumn colours, and have traditional food with locals. Overnight at Hunza.
    7Depart after breakfast for Khunjerab pass passing through small beautiful villages on the Karakoram highway. We shall come back to Passu to have the best Milky Way in the middle of the beautiful Passu cones and Batura Glacier. Overnight at Passu.
    8After breakfast, Visit Hussani suspension bridge and then walk through autumn gardens to Ondra fort. Enjoy stunning views of Gulmit Kamaris, Ghulkin villages and Attabad Lake. Later go for boating at Attabad Lake. Overnight at Attabad lake.
    9After breakfast, Drive to Khaplu (410km), stopping for lunch in Gilgit. Although it will be a long day but will have plenty of time the next day to explore Khaplu in detail. Overnight at Khaplu.
    10Full day to Enjoy Khaplu Valley, Drive to Machulo to see the mighty Mashabrum Peak, visit the old shrines and relax at Khaplu Fort. Hunza and Khaplu are at the same altitude so will have the best autumn in Gilgit Baltistan. Overnight at Khaplu.
    11After early morning breakfast, Drive to Skardu. En route stop for Sayok and Indus River confluence point. Visit Sarfaranga cold desert & Shigar Fort. Overnight at Skardu.
    12After Breakfast, visit Satpara Lake and Manthal Buddha Rock. Explore the old market of Skardu. Visit Kachura Lake in the afternoon. Overnight at Skardu.
    13Transfer to the Skardu airport for an Islamabad-bound flight. Upon arrival at the airport, assist and drive to explore Taxila and truck painting.                                                            Or
    If the flight is cancelled, a long drive to Besham along Karakoram Highway. Overnight at Islamabad/Besham.
    14After the late breakfast Explore Islamabad and Pindi cities. Farewell dinner at Islamabad. Drive to the airport for the home-bound flight.                                                            Or
    Driving to Islamabad while visiting Taxila and truck panting in the afternoon visiting Islamabad. Farewell dinner at Islamabad. Drive to the airport for the home-bound flight.
